During this day trip, we will visit the Memorial Center Camp Westerbork, an important historical site in the Netherlands. The memorial center is located on the grounds of the former transit camp from which more than 100,000 Jews, Roma, and Sinti were deported during the Second World War.
The visit offers an educational and moving insight into the history of the camp and the personal stories of those who were held there. Participants will explore the museum and the outdoor memorial site, where key locations of the former camp are marked.
The visit includes a guided tour led by an experienced guide, who will provide historical context and answer questions. Lunch is also included as part of the program.
