Karianne Djoyoadhiningrat-Hol is the founder of YogaShape, a sports and yoga studio in Utrecht where yoga, movement, and science come together to help people reconnect with their bodies. She has a master degree in biology and is a certified sport and yoga teacher. During CORLAS 2026, Karianne brings movement to places where people usually remain seated, offering an all-level yoga workshop within the accompanying person program; which is of course also available for CORLAS members. These moments she invites participants to reset, recharge, and connect. Karianne is known for her authentic style and vibrant energy. She believes in the power of movement, small achievable steps, and curiosity about what is possible. She shows that a conference can inspire not only through words, but through lived experience.

Day tour Camp Westerbork: One of Europe’s most important World War II memorial sites

Time: 10:00 - 17:00

During this day trip, we will visit the Memorial Center Camp Westerbork, an important historical site in the Netherlands. The memorial center is located on the grounds of the former transit camp from which more than 100,000 Jews, Roma, and Sinti were deported during the Second World War.

The visit offers an educational and moving insight into the history of the camp and the personal stories of those who were held there. Participants will explore the museum and the outdoor memorial site, where key locations of the former camp are marked.

The visit includes a guided tour led by an experienced guide, who will provide historical context and answer questions. Lunch is also included as part of the program.

This day trip is intended to inform, remember, and reflect on an important chapter of European history.
